Head to Maple Grove June 8th and 9th for the 9th Annual Chalkfest Maple Grove!
Every year we look forward to Chalkfest Maple Grove. The artwork the chalk artists create is completely outstanding, it’s free to attend and take lots of fun selfies! It’s also the Midwest’s Largest Chalk Art Festival!
This year is the 9th Annual Chalkfest Maple Grove. The festival will be returning to its original location on downtown Main Street in Maple Grove, MN between Elm Creek Boulevard and Arbor Lakes Parkway. Chalkfest Maple Grove is open Saturday, June 8th and Sunday, June 9th from 10am- 5pm both days. The artwork will stay up for viewing through Monday, June 10th, weather permitting.
Not only can you see amazing art- this year there’s also some new activities especially for families! There will be a brand new Kids Zone and a new Chalk Art Zone for families and kids to make their own masterpieces. I think having this space is so important because my kids usually feel inspired to make their own creations after we walk around the chalk art.
The Dance Complex will host a booth for kiddos to join in a dance party and/or make a free friendship bracelet. The MiniSota Play Cafe will be on hand for tons of family fun as well! They will be hosting yard games, sand box sensory play, a temporary tattoo station, ChalkFest Bingo cards and more! My kids and I absolutely love the MiniSota Play Cafe so I’m sure their booth will be one of our first stops again this year!
Also brand new this year for Chalkfest Maple Grove is their completely free Live Music Stage!
