Get ready to see beautiful, fun and whimsical works of art in chalk June 13th and 14th at the 11th Annual Maple Grove Chalkfest!
Every year we look forward to the Maple Grove Chalkfest. The artwork the chalk artists create is completely outstanding, it’s free to attend and take lots of fun selfies! It’s also one of the Midwest’s Largest Chalk Art Festivals!
This year is the 11th annual event, revived through a new collaborative partnership between Experience Maple Grove, the Maple Grove Arts Center, and the event’s original co-creator and internationally recognized chalk artist, Shawn McCann. The festival is at its original location on downtown Main Street in Maple Grove, MN between Elm Creek Boulevard and Arbor Lakes Parkway.
It’s open Saturday, June 13th and Sunday, June 14th. The artwork will stay up for viewing through Monday, June 15th, weather permitting.
Not only can you see amazing art being created, but there are also activities especially for families! The Kids’ Zone has two art stations with free chalk art-based activities in interactive community art zones inviting everyone to join in.
There are usually lots of other activities going on too, so stay tuned until closer to festival day for what you can expect again this year!

The festival is free to attend as are many of the activities. Food and beverage will be available for purchase.
