Visit the Foshay Tower Museum and Observation Deck to take in amazing views of Minneapolis and learn about this historic building’s history and significance.
We don’t have the Eiffel Tower but we do have the Foshay. Located in downtown Minneapolis, the Foshay has a Museum and observation deck at the top of it.
The Foshay Tower was the first skyscraper built in the state of Minnesota and remained the tallest building in Minneapolis from 1929-1971. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places and remains in excellent shape.
Foshay Tower Observation Deck and Museum Information:
Take in the views of the city from the 30th floor Observation Deck and Museum.
Tickets must be purchased at the hotel front desk located in the 1st floor lobby.
The Observation Deck is not wheelchair accessible.
The Foshay Tower is significant to Minneapolis and the State of Minnesota not only as a unique example of architectural design and engineering, but as a prominent reminder of the taste and expression of “conspicuous consumption” which was felt throughout the United States during the economic boom years of the 1920s.
