Get in free to Anoka County Parks on their free second Tuesdays of each month in which no vehicle entry permit is required.
We love to get outside and explore different parks and trails in Minnesota, and here’s a thrifty way to explore Anoka County Parks!
On the second Tuesday of each month, vehicle entry fees will be waived so you can enjoy access to the parks.
Although it’s actually quite reasonable to enter the parks on other days as well (currently $7/daily or $30/annual), it’s nice to save money when we can.
The rest of the 2024 Free Tuesday schedule is as follows:
- September 10
- October 8
- November 12
- December 10
Vehicle permits are currently required for Bunker Hills Regional Park (Andover), Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park (Coon Rapids), Lake George Regional Park (Oak Grove), Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve (Lino Lakes), and Rum River Central Regional Park (Ramsey).
My wedding reception was at Bunker Hills Regional Park, so I have a bit of a soft spot for that place. 🙂 Besides these parks, there are other Anoka County Parks that always have free access – check the full list here.
