Game On! a new exhibit at the Minnesota Children’s Museum is open now through January 4th, 2026!

My kids and I had the opportunity to check out the brand new exhibit at the Minnesota Children’s Museum called Game On! and we loved it! My kids range in age from 8 to 3 and all of us, including me, had the best time playing together in this new exhibit.

What is Game On? Created by the Minnesota Children’s Museum for it’s world debut– Game On! is a hands-on game area that’s fun for the whole family. Think larger than life games, movement, play and more. We’ve been to quite a few of these exhibits now and I can tell you Game On! is hands down my favorite!
The space had game opportunities for kids of all ages. There was a specific tot area for kids age 3 and under, complete with toys safe and fun just for them. For the older kiddos there is an epic table tennis set up– my 8 year old loved this!
Larger than life CandyLand with dress up characters, real life bridges to cross, a dance floor and so much more is fun for the whole family. I also love that’s included in the admission to the museum– yay for no extra fees!
Lots of games filled out the space– blocks, drawing boards, skee ball, 3D Twister, mini golf holes– there was so much to do, we easily could have spent all morning just in this exhibit alone. Plus the museum mentioned they will change up the games throughout the summer so don’t think you can only visit this space once!
We are incredibly lucky to have the Minnesota Children’s Museum here! I love visiting with my kids and it’s fun to see what they ask to do each time. There’s always requests from them to check out the fire truck, the spinning orange chairs, the car wash- I’m sure Game On! will be a new request all summer long!
Don’t forget the Minnesota Children’s Museum offers Free First Sundays every month!
