I first learned about Little Free Libraries a few years ago. We spotted one along side the road, in front of a house. Since then, my girls and I get pretty excited when we spot one. I try to have a few books in the car, to exchange books when we spot one. If you want to learn more about them, or perhaps you are already a fan, then head to the Little Free Library Festival. It takes place tomorrow, Saturday May 21st at Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis. It’s a free event and the hours are from 10am-4pm.
Celebrate the joys of sharing books and reading with a colorful day of Library-building, storytelling, performance, poetry, and more!
