Get ready for your spring DIY projects with a membership to the MN Tool Library!
The MN Tool Library is a such a cool concept. You become a member of the MN Tool Library, take classes to learn new DIY skills and then rent the tools you need to complete your projects!
With locations in Northeast Minneapolis and St. Paul, the MN Tool Library is a nonprofit with over 8,000 tools available for rent. Depending on your membership level, you can check out 10 or more tools at a time for a week each. The tools are mostly for ideas around home-improvement, DIY, lawn & garden, and Pinterest projects.
The MN Tool Library also has workshop space in both locations. So there’s no need to give up your garage for your DIY projects! There are also staff and volunteers on site to offer their advice and share their knowledge. Whether you’re an experienced tradesperson or haven’t ever held a hammer – there’s a place for your at the MN Tool Library!
Memberships start at $65 a year. That includes tool rental of up to 10 tools at a time, 6 workshop sessions and a 20% discount on additional programming. The standard membership is $120 a year. This membership includes unlimited tool lending and workshop sessions, free basic classes and a 20% discount on additional programming.
