Friday, May 3rd is going to be a big day for Union Depot, not only is it the opening day for the brand new Choo Choo Bob’s Train Store, the Empress Steam Locomotive will be stopping by for a visit!
The Empress was built in 1930 and worked on the railroad for over 30 years. After years of storage and restoration, the Empress is back on the rails as part of The Final Spike Anniversary Steam Tour!

Attendees will have up-close access to the Empress and there will also be a mobile exhibit. Weather permitting, there will be activities available on the South Lawn, including the Puffer Belly Express, a miniature version of the Empress.
