If you have not yet had the opportunity to attend race weekend, I highly encourage checking out the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon weekend events, taking place September 29 – October 1, 2023.
Don’t let the word ‘marathon’ fool you! There truly is an event for all ages and ability levels throughout the weekend.
The Medtronic 10 Mile is such a popular event that a drawing is held for those interested to try and earn a chance to participate.
This drawing begins June 12th, but you don’t have to wait around for the drawing this year.
In celebration of the event’s 25th year, there is a great giveaway happening now! The Shortcut to the 10 Mile Scavenger Hunt allows successful scavenger hunters to avoid the registration drawing plus get a complimentary entry into the 10 mile race!
From Thursday, May 25th through Saturday, June 3rd, Twin Cities In Motion will hide ten Medtronic TC 10 Mile medallions across the Twin Cities – one each day — and offer a clue to its whereabouts on social media.
Medallions are hidden in public, outdoor locations. No climbing or digging is necessary. Find clues for each medallion’s whereabouts on Twin Cities in Motion social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) each morning at 11 am Central Time.
What To Do If You Find a Medtronic TC 10 Mile Medallion:
If you’re lucky enough to locate one of the ten hidden medallions, follow these steps to receive your complimentary entry to the Twin Cities 10 Mile
- Remove it
- Send a selfie with the medallion via social media
- Email info@tcmevents.org
- The medallion is yours to keep!
Once a medallion is found and reported, there will be a social media post as soon as possible. Clues from previous days will remain on the highlight reels on the Instagram and Twitter feeds.
Medallions will remain in their hiding places until Friday, June 9. After this date, all medallions will be collected, as the scavenger hunt will conclude.
Make race weekend a family event. Remember kids 18 and under can run FREE at Twin Cities in Motion events. Stay up to date with Twin Cities in Motion here. Good luck with your search!
