The Water Lantern Festival is Saturday, July 27th at Phalen Park in St. Paul- keep reading for discount ticket information!
Have you ever been to the Water Lantern Festival in Phalen Park? It’s beautiful night of connection and peace, when people gather to release lanterns onto the water. Of course many of the lanterns represent passed loved ones, some represent the closing of life chapters, new beginnings, milestones, etc. Whatever you reason, you are welcome to create your own lantern and join in the event!
Besides the lantern launch, there’s lots more to do at the event! From 6-10pm, there’s food trucks, live music and time to DIY your own lantern. The lantern launches begin at 8:30pm and end at 10pm.
It’s also awesome to know that the Water Lantern Festival is a sustainable event. They do go into the water and collect the lanterns to be recycled following the event. They also try to reuse the LED lights when possible. So you don’t have to worry about littering your lantern- it will be collected properly after the event!
