Don’t miss your chance to check out Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice at Minnesota Children’s Museum open now through May 11th, 2025!
Do you have a dino-obsessed kiddo? All my kids have gone through major dinosaur obsessions over the years, but currently it’s my 2 two year who is asking for dinos again and again!
When I heard about Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice at Minnesota Children’s Museum, I knew we had to check it out!
I love the Minnesota Children’s Museum in St. Paul for many reasons, but I really enjoy visiting their special exhibits. As a mom of 3, I am thankful the special exhibits are included in the museum admission so we don’t have to pay extra to check them out.

Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice is a wonderful interactive experience that immerses visitors in the Cretaceous Period (70-65 million years ago), a time when dinosaurs last roamed the earth.
Some of our favorite interactive moments included giant dinosaur eggs, costumes, puzzles, huge dinosaur statues, walking through a bog, digging for fossils and much more.
A big crowd pleaser was the coloring station. After you color your dinosaur, you can add it to the wall projection using a QR code- it was so fun and all the kids (and adults) loved seeing their own creations on the wall!
Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice is open now through May 11th at the Minnesota Children’s Museum in downtown St. Paul. This special exhibit is included in daily admission, $17 -$19/per person ages 1 and up.
Don’t forget the museum has Free First Sundays every month. Tickets are free but registration is required. You can check out our post about the Minnesota Children’s Museum Free First Sundays here.
