Celebrate Earth Day and help the planet with these Earth Day Events in Minnesota for 2025! This list includes events in the Twin Cities as well as greater Minnesota.

Earth Day is coming up soon! This is a great opportunity to get out with your family and spend some time learning about the environment and doing what you can to help preserve our beautiful planet.
Many cities in Minnesota host Earth Day events and activities like park cleanups, hikes and walks, family-friendly education activities, and more! Most of these activities happen on Earth Day itself (April 22), while others take place throughout the month.

We’ve rounded up a list of Earth Day events in Minnesota, including Twin Cities Earth Day events as well as what’s going on in greater Minnesota. Some of these events require registration, so be sure to look at the details of the event you want to go to for more information.
This year, we’ve also included Arbor Day Events in Minnesota since the two holidays fall close together and have a similar environmental focus.
If you know of other events that should be on this list, please leave a comment or shoot us an email at chrysa @ thriftyminnesota.com. Thanks!
