Step back in time and feel what it was like to live more than 100 years ago during the Extravaganza at the Village of Yesteryear!
I love events that take you back in time! To me, it’s fun for me and my family to experience the music and styles of the past. What a great way to create new memories and experience history first hand.
This upcoming Sunday (July 9) is the annual Extravaganza event put on by the Steele County Historical Society. The full afternoon of family friendly fun takes place at the Village of Yesteryear in Owatonna.
The Extravaganza event takes place from 12 – 4 pm and is completely FREE! This annual event, happening since 1987, celebrates the heritage and history of Steele County.
Come learn about the people who helped shape the county into what it is today. Throughout the day, reenactors will offer demonstrations.
Watch performances, play games, participate in crafts, eat delicious food, and more.
