Go, Dog. Go! • Ve Perro ¡Ve! is on stage now at Children’s Theatre Company through February 22nd, 2026.
Go, Dog. Go! • Ve Perro ¡Ve! is a bilingual musical adaptation of P.D. Eastman’s beloved children’s book of the same name. I don’t know about you, but this has always been a favorite book in our house!
We can’t wait to see Go, Dog. Go! • Ve Perro ¡Ve! but I feel confident sharing about it before I see it firsthand because Children’s Theatre Company consistenly creates amazing theatre experiences the whole family can enjoy! I will update this review with my personal thoughts once we attend the show.
Just like the book– there are a lot of silly dogs on stage doing funny things like roller-skating, bike-riding, playing baseball, wearing funny hats, speaking Spanish and so much more! As the show goes on, the audience will be singing along with the bilingual spectacle that makes no sense (and TOTAL sense), all at the same time!
Go, Dog. Go! • Ve Perro ¡Ve! is best enjoyed by younger audiences and runs 75 minutes with no intermission. This is a fun, silly, jolly show and there’s no big scary moments or villains. Children’s Theatre Company does host Sensory- Friendly performances- there’s two for Go, Dog. Go! • Ve Perro ¡Ve! on Friday, February 20th at 7pm and Sunday, February 22nd at 11am. You can learn more about those performances here.
Something I love about Children’s Theatre Company are the amazing Audience Guides they create for every show. These are wonderful to utilize as a parent and also with your kids. They feature a summary of the show, any content advisories, behind the scenes info, activities and more. You can check out the Audience Guide for Go, Dog. Go! • Ve Perro ¡Ve! on their website.
