Save on your next Twins game at Target Field with ticket promotions and these many ways to save at the ballpark!

The Minnesota Twins home opener is Thursday, April 3, 2025! I thought it would be helpful to point out the various Minnesota Twins ticket promotions that are currently available.
Before we get to the list, don’t forget that you can often get discount Twins tickets on Groupon!

If you’re planning to catch a Twins game (or two or three or more) this baseball season, you’ll want to check out this list of specials to see if any of them work for you.
These are organized by day of the week, so you’ll see some duplicates.
And of course, you’ll want to check the Twins Promotions page to see if there are any giveaways at the game you’re planning to attend.
They have some fun giveaways coming up like Twins beanies, Byron Buxton bobblehead, Joe Mauer replica statue, kids “squishie” pillow, and more. (Just remember you have to get there early for the giveaways since they are usually limited to the first 5,000 – 10,000 fans and sometimes are limited to kids.)

Tips for Saving Money (and Having Fun!) at Target Field
Bring your own food and water (yes, it’s allowed!).
You can bring your own food and water into Target Field in general seating areas! Just make sure it’s in a soft-sided container or bag (16″ x 16″ x 8″ or smaller), not a hard-sided cooler.
You can also bring in sealed, bottled water 32-oz. or less, and soft-sided single juice or milk containers for children.
At the very least, bring an empty water bottle to fill while you’re there. Regulations say it should be a plastic sport type bottle. I’ve seen other bottles being used there, but you may not want to take chances.
Water Bottle Refill Locations at Target Field
There are multiple places to fill your water bottle at Twins games. You can find both water fountains and water refill stations at sections 111, 117, 131, 202 and 226. (I made a note to check locations at our last game, but I may have missed one!)
Park in Ramp A, B, or C…
This isn’t so much a money-saving tip as it is a time-saving tip…every time I go to Target Field I park in one of the ABC Ramps. Cost is anywhere from $9-$25 and it’s all connected via skyway.
You can’t get lost. Seriously, it’s ridiculously easy. Plus, my kids love walking through the skyway. If you really want to pinch pennies, use a website like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book your spot in advance.
…or take the Light Rail.
With the number of people I bring with me, it’s cheaper and easier for us to just pay for parking, but it might be more economical (and fun!) for you to take the Light Rail.
The Blue and Green Lines both drop you off right at the ballpark. The Northstar Line is also available for those who live a little further out. Although the Northstar Line offers service to downtown Minneapolis, check if the times will work for you as they are not operating extra trips to special events at this time.
Don’t forget to visit the organist.
One stop we make every single time is to visit the Twins organist, Sue Nelson. (True story: I know her personally and she played the organ for my wedding.) Sue is a gem and she has a great view of the field. To find the organist, you’ll need to head to Twins Pub on the upper level of the stadium, directly behind home plate.
Watch the Twins Facebook page.
Stay up to date on offers and promotions. Check out the Twins Facebook page.
Little kids get in free.
If your kiddo is less than 30″ in height, they’ll get in free to regular season games (provided you go with them and have a valid ticket, of course!). They must sit on your lap and not occupy an additional seat.
Grab a TC Sluggers Kids Club Membership.
Check out our post about the TC Sluggers Kids Club for children 12 years of age and under. Although the membership costs money, there are a lot of perks to this membership including merchandise, deals on tickets, and special experiences for members.
*Please note: The Kids Club is currently on hold. We’ll let you know when they’re back up and running.
Buy your concessions at the “Family Value” Concession stands.
Three locations in Target Field have slightly discounted prices on hot dogs, nachos, soft pretzels, peanuts, popcorn, soft drinks, and specific beers. These lower-priced items are at the stadium’s three “Family Value” stands – Sections 120, 133 and 311.
All three stands feature value-based, family-friendly pricing for popular food items, along with self-serve, touchscreen kiosks to expedite the ordering and purchasing process. Some of the 2025 prices include fountain soda $1.99, hot dog $3.99, popcorn and peanuts $2.99 each, soft pretzels $3.99, and ice cream novelties $3.49.
Please note: Target Field is a cashless facility. All concessions, ticketing and merchandise stands accept all major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Buy a refillable souvenir fountain drink cup.
At most concession stands you can get unlimited fountain soda refills with the purchase of a 32-ounce souvenir cup for $11.99.
Consider Legends Landing if you like to eat a LOT at the game.
These tickets in the S, T, U and V sections have a view of both the field and the Minneapolis skyline and include unlimited classic ballpark food including hot dogs, burgers, chicken tenders, popcorn, nachos, pop, water, juice, and milk.
Buy Twins Tickets at the Box Office.
If you don’t end up using Groupon to buy your tickets, the box office is a great option to buying vs the Twins website or MLB Ballpark app. Ticket fees online are $5 per ticket plus a $4 per order charge. At the Box Office ticket prices are $3 more than online, but there is no per ticket or per order fee.
Take your chances with the Split the Pot Raffle.
It could be your lucky day! At each home game, the Minnesota Twins will hold the Twins Split the Pot Raffle, benefiting the Twins Community Fund and the Ted Williams Foundation.
Raffle tickets may be purchased from uniformed raffle-ticket sellers throughout the ballpark at a cost of $5 a ticket, 10 tickets for $10, 87 tickets for $20, 280 tickets for $50, or 777 tickets for $100. The winning number, determined through a random drawing, will be announced in the ninth inning. One lucky winner will take home a share of that day’s pot!
Skip the line with Go-Ahead Entry.
Want to skip the line to get in? Target Field is now offering MLB’s Go-Ahead Entry, an optional facial recognition ticket-based system. Fans with tickets to a Twins’ home game can register for the program on the MLB Ballpark app. Come game time, just walk right into Target Field without having your ticket scanned! You’ll need to use one of the designated lanes at Gates 3, 6, 29, or 34.
Get free tickets with Kwik Trip Rewards.
This season, for every $1 you spend at Kwik Trip using your Kwik Rewards account, you’ll learn a point. For every 200 points you earn, you can get a free Upper Deck ticket to a select home game! Details here.
Use your fishing or hunting license to get a discount.
Minnesota fishing or hunting license holders can get discounted tickets to select games along with a free Twins cap. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
