Do you have an extra day off to explore over the Presidents Day Holiday? The Como Zoo has a full weekend planned with their PolarPalooza event!
PolarPalooza takes place February 17-19, 2024 from 10am – 4pm. PolarPalooza at Como Zoo features free interactive and educational activities, geared for the whole family to enjoy.
Families can participate in crafts, story time, animal enrichment, games, and interactive stations.

- Polar Bear Craft Activity
- Blubber Glove Cold Hand Challenge
- “Who am I?” Guessing Game
- Be a Polar Bear scientist and help at the Polar Bear Research Station
- Polar Ice Hop Game
- Polar Bear Enrichment (10:30 am)
- Zookeeper Talk (11 am)
- Blaze Sparky Show (11:30 am)
- Gardener Chat (1pm)
- Gorilla Program (1:30 pm)
- Blaze Sparky Show (2:30 pm)

The Como Park Zoo and Conservatory, located in Saint Paul, is open 365 days per year. Through their mission, the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory hopes to inspire the public to value the presence of living things in our lives.
Admission to the zoo is free, but donations are always appreciated. A voluntary donation of $4 per adult and $2 per child is suggested if you are able to help the team care for the plants and animals. Advance registration is no longer required for Como Zoo.
