Kids can get up close and even sit in side fire trucks, snow plows, delivery trucks and more at Vehicle Day at Southdale Center in Edina.
When our girls were young they loved to watch for the garbage truck. Tractors on the farm were always a fun ride too. Younger kids love big machines and larger vehicles.
On Saturday, May 6th Southdale Center Hosts their Annual Vehicle Day.
Get up close to fire trucks, police cars, garbage trucks, snow plows, buses and more! Kids will even be able to climb aboard, sit in the driver’s seat and pretend to be a firefighter, truck driver, delivery person and many more.
Plus those who drive or use these vehicles will be on hand to explain how they work and answer questions. It’s a great way to safely get up close with some large vehicles.
This free event is open to all ages; children must be supervised by an adult. No registration necessary. The event is held in the Southdale parking lot from 10-12. Held rain or shine.
This event is coordinated with Richfield Parks & Recreation and co-sponsored by Southdale Center. Learn more here.
