Do you have broken items sitting around your house that you don’t know how to fix but you don’t want to just throw away? If so, check out the Fix-it Clinics in Hennepin County where you can get household items fixed for free and also learn valuable repair skills.
At Fix-It Clinics, residents bring in small household appliances, clothing, electronics, mobile devices and more and receive free guided assistance from volunteers with repair skills to disassemble, troubleshoot and fix their items.
Fix-It Clinics teach valuable troubleshooting and basic repair skills, build community connections and reduce the number of repairable objects that are thrown in the trash.
Check out the 2025 schedule for upcoming clinics HERE or, if you have fix-it skills of your own, learn how to volunteer!
Clinics are held on the second Saturday of most months from 12 – 4 pm, with the last items accepted at 3:30 pm. Events are first come, first served. No pre-registration required.
